Drinks for Delhi Police, Traffic Police and other forces serving during COVID

COVID has brought about these tough times on mankind. While the common man was retrained within their home, the Delhi Police, the Delhi Traffic Police and other forces where patrol the streets for our safety - even in the scorching heat. Guru Kirpa Act Now foundation took the initiative to serve these men by offering water, soft drinks, juices, tea, coffee & refreshment during these times.

Marriages of Underprivileged Girls

Kanya Daan is Maha Daan: every year our team takes up the Kanya Daan resistibility of a few under privileged girls in the community. The Act Now Foundation has taken end to end responsibility of these marriages including all arrangementes like food, clothing, gifts, etc as per Hindu marriage customs.

Support the poor with school admissions, books and stationary

We have been making a conscious effort to support the education of the children of local house hold help / under privileged – by helping them in getting admission to schools, managing expenses of school fee, uniforms, book, stationary etc.

Free Cooked Meals for Attendants of Patients admitted in RML Hospital

Since the outbreak of COVID there has been a large number of people admitted to several hospitals including Delhi's RML Hospital. Their attendants waiting outside the hospital have very limited means of food available to them due to the lockdowns. Act Now Foundation took the initiative to serve clean, hygienic and fresh cooked meal packets to these attendants

Free Medical supoort and Medicines for the needy

The Foundation has been contributing to medical expenses of several needy who are unable to meet their sudden as well as critical illness expenses.

Contributions to Blind Schools

The foundation has adopted several children in the blind school. As part of this initiative, apart from handling their monthly expenses, the team makes weekly visits to the school children, distribute clothes and blankets.

Water Cooler Installation

The foundation has been instumental in getting water cooler installed in several places, enabling the locals to benefit from the same..

Free Family and Future Counselling

A service that Didi has been performing since the early age of 18 years where she has been guiding and advising people on how to resolve issues faced and improve their future.

About Us

Founder: Smt. Laxmi Rai

Blessed by the Almighty, Smt. Laxmi Rai has devoted her life to a simple motive “To Selflessly Help Other”. This has been the primary objective of her life ever since she completed her disksha from GuruJi at the age of 14. She formally started contributing to the noble cause at the early age of 18 years. And by the grace of God, she has been successful in every initiative that has taken up. It is her selfless devotion to help other that has inspired several and join the cause. What she started alone as a young child has now become a self-sustaining NGO

Late Mr. & Mrs. Mehta

Mr. Mehta retired from the India Air Force, and Mrs. Mehta retired as Sr NS from RML hospital: they both were associated with the organization since the very inception and their contributed has been instrumental in building up this organization. We lost both them to COVID : We pay our tribute these departed souls.

Mr Ravindra Gulati

Retired from a senior position from a bank, is a sincere human being who is always ready to help out the ones in need. His honesty, punctuality and desire to help the mankind has made him an important pillar of the foundation. In addition he also manages the accounts of the foundation.
